Visit Oxfordshire launches new Group and Travel Trade itineraries

Visit Oxfordshire, the new Destination Management Organisation for Oxford and Oxfordshire, announces the launch of its first itineraries aimed at the group and travel trade market.

Visit Oxfordshire has worked in partnership with Great Days Travel to create a number of new special interest itineraries, which range in length from just one day to three days, to showcase the rich diversity of Oxfordshire.

Tourist TV launched in Oxford

Tourists visiting Oxfordshire will be able to watch a 15 minute film which introduces them to the County.
Cityvision media have produced the film and it is now running live in the Tourist Information Centre in Oxford as well as dozens of hotels across the County including the Four Pillars Hotel Group.
The film showcases some of the finest must see's and do’s in the County and provides visitors with useful information about tourist attractions.

Oxford Tourist Information Centre (TIC) has seen its busiest July in six years with nearly 80,000 people visiting the centre.
Thousands of people are visiting the TIC looking for information about what to see and do in the city and surrounding area.
During July 79,000 people visited the Centre asking for information on places to stay, where to visit, to book walking tours and to book discounted tickets for attractions.
The figure this year shows a massive leap of 14,000 more people walking through their doors compared to July 2009.
