An award-winning south coast art gallery is inviting visitors into the world of iconic 20th century photographer Robert Mapplethorpe this autumn, with a series of unique events inspired by the current ARTIST ROOMS exhibition – including the hotly anticipated Studio 54 at Towner this Saturday night, inspired by the legendary New York nightclub which defined Mapplethorpe’s era.

Lambeth Country Show / Urban Art

Wow! What an amazing event - and such a perfect day, location, vibe... Can't believe there is an event this big in our neighbourhood. Brockwell park is perfect as a venue, with a hill in the centre, and naturally sloping in all directions to create natural amphitheatres.

Just behind the Lido was the main Music stage, pumping out reggae with acts like The Twinkle Brothers and many others. there were two other stages as well as an arena for shows such as the Devil's Horsemen doing a medieval jousting show.
