Music at New Brewery Arts

The Roving Crows present Gutsy Celtic Fusion

Following a knock-out performance at Brewery Blues in January The Roving Crows are back to rock Brewery Arts to the rafters on Friday 24 June, with Bristol's Elly McCabe supporting.

With roots in a rich, Celtic tradition, The Crows bring together many genres, influences and rhythms to create an exhilarating performance. You may detect hints of every musical style from Christy Moore and Steve Earle to Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and David Gilmour.

But The Crows are a one-off. The charismatic 5 piece mashes frenetic fiddle playing with trumpet, drums, bass, guitar and vocals with remarkable vigour and energy to create their own, distinctive sound.

Line-up includes frontman, singer and guitarist Paul O’Neill, who hails from Kildare, and fiddle player, singer Caitlin Barrett, a native of County Donegal. Joe Ball provides the bass lines, with Greg Wilson-Copp on trumpet and Vicky Offord on keyboards. Josh Balen completes the line-up, pounding out rhythms on a range of percussion from drums to the more traditional djembe and bodhran.

Their unique ability to connect with the audience makes for an evening of 'craic' not to be missed. Find out more about The Roving Crows at www.rovingcrows.com and book tickets online at www.newbreweryarts.org.uk
