Favourite night out

I've been to the funnybone nights on many occasions and it is still the best night out in town and excellent value for money (let alone the Wittdo offer). Go for the commedians, stay for the cheeseburger.

Out of the haystack and into the spotlight...

The internet has turned local leisure businesses into thousands of tiny needles in an enormous online haystack of 'things to do', and people don't know where to start. There are more listings sites than ever before, and therefore hundreds of advertising slots to be filled.

Marketing companies offer ways to optimise the haystack search, and direct them to the needle that's most relevant... but sadly, they offer this to anyone, and those with the deepest pockets are optimised more than some. So that doesn't work either.

Restaurants, theatres, cafes, museums working together...

Back in the day, businesses large and small shared media, because it made perfect marketing sense to share, especially if you were a small business

No restaurant or theatre would wake up in the morning and start collating their own Yellow Pages, because they are worried about about all the other restaurants and theatres (the local competition) being advertised on the same page. The switched-on restaurants and theatres understand that Yellow Pages help precisely because everyone else is in it. It makes life easier for the consumer!

Are you happy to share your customers? Bear in mind you do already.

Your next new customer is currently someone elses... are you happy to share? Bear in mind you do already!

... so what if we could help the sharing process?
... help those customers find you
... what have you got to lose?
... loyal customers don't leave you, that's why they are loyal.
... but what about everyone else?
... what have you got to gain?

Wittdo is a project to help consumers. Whilst helping businesses save time and money, by helping them reduce their reliance on technology.

New venue for Plymouth

Tags:

I had the privilege last week of being given a tour of a new venue in Plymouth. Following a huge regeneration project of Devonport, the Guildhall which was built in the 1800s has undergone a terrific faceift, whilst maintaining it's original features. Right in the heart of a new housing develop, I can see it becoming a great space for the area.
